Weekly Update #49

Happy Saturday and happy last post of the year. Who knew I’d last so long? This was my first year writing full time and I managed to finish and publish two books of poetry, two novels and two parts of my third novel. I proved to myself that I can deliver the goods, now I just have to figure out how to eat!

This week I ended up taking Christmas off in addition to my normal Saturdays, so I finished 5000 words, bringing my total to 26k. (I realized I made a mistake in last week’s post, I was only at 21k then.) Things are still going well. The characters are getting fleshed out a bit more and we’re getting to explore one of the cities in the story. In addition, the seeds are planted for antagonists to rise up! I’m really excited about this story and I’m interested to know what peoples reactions will be when its finished.
