Weekly Update #62

Happy sunny Saturday and happy Easter tomorrow. No racing this weekend, but lots of basketball. Both the men’s and women’s march madness tournaments are well underway now. We’re slowly getting down to the elite eight, and then… well, you guessed it. It’s too bad both tournaments are happening simultaneously but it’s still fun and worth watching.

My writing went pretty so-so this week. The end is nigh, as they say, which is the positive part. I’m basically just wrapping things up and reaching the climax of the story, so I expect to finish if not this coming week then the week after. On the other hand, there were some bits I wrote that I’m not that confident about and I was mostly just YOLO-ing. But that’s why the first draft is exactly that. I’m sure that once I’ve had a chance to step back and take a look at the whole thing I can figure out how to fix the problems (if they’re problems at all!).
