Weekly Update #87

1 minute read

Happy Saturday and happy F1 Singapore weekend. The track looks incredible at night and Singapore has some great sights to see, so it’s all very exciting.

After the McLaren rear wing drama this weekend, the FIA finally decided to change the rules so that McLaren can’t “cheat” anymore. If you weren’t following, they had a rear wing that opened slightly during high speeds, creating a “mini-DRS” effect. They replaced the wing and now suddenly the other teams are competitive again. Who would have guessed?

In other news, it sounds like this is Daniel Ricciardo’s last weekend in F1. News is that he is going to be replaced by Liam Lawson. I think that’s probably a good thing over all. Daniel just hasn’t been effective at all and somebody else deserves a chance at that seat. Pole is Lando, Max and Lewis.

Didn’t hear anything from agents this week. I’m giving agents ONE MORE WEEK and then you’ve lost your chance! One more week because I’m very close to the end of the second book now! I reached 102k words and am definitely in the finale part of the story. There’s no turning back! My plan is to finish up the story (probably this week), then take a few days break while I prepare the first book for publishing. Once it’s out and published, I’ll start editing the second book. I’ll plan on releasing the second book sometime in the next 3-6 months, whatever seems right.

Stay tuned!
