Weekly Update #113
Happy Saturday! We’re reaching the end of March, but if it was supposed to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb, something went wrong! It’s in like a lion out like a lion. I don’t think I’ve seen the sun this week. It’s still out there, right?
F1 started off with a great race in Melbourne last weekend. It looked like McLaren picked up from the end of last season and were headed for a one-two until Oscar Piastri skidded out into the grass. This weekend is another race, this time in Shanghai. I haven’t caught the sprint or the qualifying yet, but it’s looking like McLaren is still going to be in the lead.
Writing went well this week, better than the last two. I finished up Part 1, so, you guessed it, it’s on to Part 2. My current word count is 37k words. Assuming each part is equally spaced, then it’ll be around 140k words, which would make it my longest work by around 30k words. I don’t know if that will actually happen, but that’s what I’m planning for. I’d still be working on it through the end of June, and then I’d have two months to edit it before releasing in the middle of September. I think it’s doable. Unlike my previous book, I don’t think this one will require very many edits.
Hope you have a great week!
