Weekly Update #126

Happy Saturday! For half the country, summer has turned into fiery pits of hell, but here, summer has turned back into winter. Right now it’s mid-50s and raining!

I thought there was F1 this weekend, but it’s actually next weekend. I had the place right, but the date wrong, unlike last time where I had the date right and the place wrong. Last weekend’s race saw some shakeups in the standings, with McLaren falling back a bit in pace and Max making up some ground.

The NBA Finals are going to game 7! Tomorrow is the end of the end! 5 pm pacific!

As for the WNBA, the issue of reffing is back in the public eye after some scuffles and near-fights in the Fever vs Sun game on Tuesday. Caitlin got clawed in the eye and pushed down to the floor and somehow received a technical foul for it. Neither of her aggressors got ejected, so later on in the game, Sophie Cunningham pulled one of them to the floor as they went on a breakaway layup. Benches cleared, multiple ejections. Yikes!

My new book is finally reaching its end. There are only a couple of things I want to change now, minor things, and then it’s all done. This will probably be the last week of editing and then I’ll work on publishing.
