Weekly Update #147

Happy Saturday!

Well, the great battle between Youtube and Disney is finally over. Thank goodness! After some of Disney’s comments this week, I thought it might go on for much longer. I don’t know who lost more (ESPN was reportedly losing $5m a day), but I guess they both realized that it’s better for both of them to work together.

The NBA cup is in full swing now. I was able to catch the Heat vs the Knicks last night. It was a great game! I’m not really sure when the finals occur, but I’ll try to catch that too.

I finished my next book! There wasn’t much editing to do which was a relief. The one read-through I did focused on fixing a few sentences here and there and deleting stuff that seemed extraneous. In total I ended up deleting about 2000 words so the final version is about 68.5k. A bit shorter than I wanted but that’s ok. It’s really not a big deal, but in the future I’ll probably try to write over my goal so that I can still meet it. All I’m doing now is adding the title pages, page numbers, etc. After that’s done, it’s making a cover and creating the kindle file. I still haven’t decided on a release date. It depends on whether or not I want to take a look at the review copies first. Either way, I think you can expect it to come out this month.
