Weekly Update #177

Happy Saturday! It’s a relief that the weekend and good weather are finally here. The whole of last week we were covered in thick smoke from the wildfires out in eastern Oregon and Washington. It was intolerable and we didn’t even have the worst of it! The air quality in Eugene was almost twice as bad! Most of it has blown away now, thank goodness!

My writing went well this week. I met my quota every day and stopped at 17k words. I can’t believe I’ve already written so much. It really feels like I just published “The Rot” yesterday. I don’t know how long this book is going to be, but I don’t think it will that that long. Maybe around 250-300 pages. We’ll see.

Not much else going on. I’m looking forward to the new football season. We have a new coach for our college team and a whole new league too! This is the first year the brand new Pac-12 debuts. It’s all very exciting.
