Weekly Update #57

Happy Saturday and happy sunny and warm weather to the residents of my fine town. I’m going to try and enjoy it as long as I can, because next week it might snow! (At the very least it will be raining.)

We finally got to see some of the pre-season testing for F1 this week. After the first session, Red Bull was over a second ahead of McLaren, but after the second and third sessions, we have a clearer idea of what the teams are looking like. So far Red Bull and Ferrari are the clear favorites, with McLaren and Mercedes clear seconds and Aston Martin maybe also in second. After that it’s just whomever. The team-formerly-known-as-Alpha-Tauri is also looking very good, much better than last year. I hope they’re able to be best of the rest.

My book went really well this week. I was able to focus on some important dialogue and start to make some movement towards the climax of the story. I would say it’s still quite a ways off, but at 74k words I feel like I should have been closer by now. It’s all good though. It’s not like I have a particular word limit. I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing and I’ll get there whenever I get there.
