Weekly Update #58

Happy Saturday and happy start of the F1 season. The last couple of weeks has been a wild ride and nobody is even on the track yet! Qualifying went about as expected I think. Even though Max has the pole position, Charles had the fastest lap overall (in Q2), so it should be close. The biggest news to me from qualifying was that Alpine was 19 and 20th. Yikes! They are really in deep trouble. When even Logan is beating you, you know you are cooked.

This week I reached 80k words in my book. I think High on the Line was around 85k, so it’s close to being my longest work. I think I’ll probably try to get to 100k and then call it a day. We’ll see. I had some ideas about how to wrap it up, but I still need to explore them a little bit more until I find something I’m happy with. It’s crazy to think that I’ve come so far already, and yet I still don’t feel like I’ve said enough! I’ll take that as a good sign!

Looking at the news, I see that half the country is in a heat wave and the other half is below freezing. I’m in the freezing part so I’ll try to stay warm. Do whatever you gotta!
