Weekly Update #63
Happy Saturday and happy F1 weekend. They’re in Japan this time, just in time for the cherry blossom bloom. I’m really appreciative of all the fans who are going out of their way to find artistic angles for photographs of the cars with the trees. As for the qualification, yikes! Red Bull is back on top, so much so that the other competitors are in disbelief! After Alonso finished his lap, his team asked him to go again because he was 0.5 seconds down, but he said he just did the fastest lap he could possibly do! I guess we’ll have to hope both Red Bull cars have problems and can’t finish if we want a tight race haha.

This week I finished the first draft of my new book! I ended around 107k words (395 pages), which makes it my longest book by about 20ishk words. I’ve already started on the editing process. I’m committing to editing 25 pages a day, and it will take me at least two passes, so realistically I’m looking at a completion date in like 3-4 weeks. I’m pretty happy with what I’ve edited so far, although there are some minor things I need to work on. The first pass is mostly adjusting language or rewriting what is already there and fixing any inconsistencies in the story. The second pass is where I’ll add any new scenes to emphasize things that don’t receive enough attention.
It’s happening!
