Weekly Update #64
Happy rainy Saturday! Where did all the sun go??
After the race in Melbourne, I thought maybe Ferrari would have a chance in Japan, but last week Red Bull showed once again that they are absolutely dominant. Like, beyond domination. They came with four or five upgrades and were far ahead of their competitors. But there are some rumors going around that Adrian Newey (who designs the Red Bull car) is shopping around for a new team (specifically Aston Martin), so maybe the era will come to an end sooner rather than later.
In any case, there is no F1 this weekend. But next weekend they are racing in Shanghai, China. I’ve never seen them race on this track before so I’m very excited.
My writing went pretty well this week. I’ve completed 225 (out of 400) pages of editing so far. I have a list of notes that are collecting about all the inconsistencies and other things I need to fix, but overall it’s pretty clean and it’s been smooth sailing (no major rewrites). I’m really happy with what I’ve produced and at times I’ve been surprised by stuff I forgot I wrote that I really like. The finish date will depend on how many details, big and small, that I decide to add in the second and (possibly) third revision. But if I had to guess I’d say it’ll be finished in 4-6 weeks.
See you next week!
