Weekly Update #65

1 minute read

Happy Saturday! The weather was looking nice this morning but then all of a sudden a squall blew in and now it’s cold and windy and rainy. Yuck!

Some exciting race action this weekend in Formula 1. They’re in Shanghai, China this time, with no end in sight to Red Bull domination. There was a slight hiccup during the sprint race, but once Max got his engine settings figured out halfway through, he came from third place to first and then gained 1.5 seconds per lap and ended up over 12 seconds ahead by the end. For reference, a few tenths would be considered a big gap, so 1.5 seconds is like not even the same category of racing. Red Bull ended up 1 and 2 in the qualifying for tomorrow’s race as well, so I guess they will just drive away again.

This week I finished editing through pg 375 of my new book. There were some pretty difficult sections to work through but in the end I got there. A lot of stuff happens in these parts, and I made a lot of notes for the next edit on how to improve on them. Probably I will tackle it by adding more foreshadowing earlier and other details. I have about 50 notes so far on things to fix, so there is still a lot of work to do. But Monday I’ll have finished the first draft so I’ll know where I stand. I don’t think there is anything to worry about. Overall it looks good, it just needs some more support in a few areas.

See you next week!
