Weekly Update #72

Happy Saturday and happy day off to me and to you. The weather cooled off a bit, but I’m sure it’s just the start of what is sure to be a scorching summer! Death Valley was supposed to reach its all-time high of 121 today (or maybe it was yesterday). And it’s only June. Yikes!

Big F1 weekend in Canada. As of writing, qualifying is only just starting, so I have no idea how it’s going to pan out. I’m expecting a tight three-way battle at the top between Red Bull, Ferrari and McClaren though.

Still working on finding an agent. So far I’ve sent out 10 queries and received 5 rejections. Every communication I’ve received has been in a form letter, so nothing really promising. It’s just something to live with for now. It’s quite a lot of work trying to find someone so I just do it every two or three days. It gives me a lot more time to work on my next book as well. So far its coming along fairly well. No major pain points (yet). I reached my goal of 13k words so that’s something to celebrate. Just gotta keep on working and working the system until I finally reach my goals.
