Weekly Update #85

Happy Saturday everyone!

If you’re a sports fan then you’re living in a blessed time right now. WNBA is heating up and heading for the playoffs and college football and NFL are back! The Chefs vs the Ravens was a real thriller to start off the season, and thankfully Michigan State and Oregon State won their games last week. Oregon barely managed to defeat Idaho, so I think they are in for a rough season (can’t wait!).

Didn’t hear back from any agents this week. I think at this point probably none of the open queries I have will be answered, but that’s ok. It’s their loss!!

My writing went ok-ish this week. Currently sitting at 90k words. The location of the finale is finally here, so now all that’s left is to write something amazing that will wow everyone. Luckily everything that’s going to happen is already in my head so I just have to execute. I’m feeling very confident about it and I have no worries at all. Quite a few things about the story have changed and there are a lot of places where I want to add new details, so editing is going to take a while. The plan is still to finish the first draft around the end of the month. Editing should take around two months I would guess assuming I do at least three drafts, which is likely, and then do one final read-through at the end.

Anyway, things are looking good overall!
