Weekly Update #93

Happy rainy Saturday! The winter weather is here! It’s cold and damp in the day and chill at night!

Boy, it’s been a big week for the WNBA. 7/12 teams fired their coaches and the next day the news we expected happened: the Indiana Fever hired Stephanie White as their next head coach. She was the coach of the Connecticut Sun for only two years, but led her team to the finals in one of them and then won coach of the year. It’s gonna be very exciting to see how they perform next year.

The election is this week, so remember to get out and vote!

I got another rejection letter this week. Too bad! If I could figure out how to shut down all the queries I sent I would, but I can’t, so here we are getting rejections for a work I can’t sell to agents anymore.

My new strategy of editing one chapter a day is working out well. It’s slower, but much more manageable. So far I’m 140/420 pages finished with this draft. It will probably take me about another 3-4 weeks to finish, but after that the work should be more or less completed. I’ll do one more read-through after that to polish up any small things.

And then… who knows!
