Weekly Update #120

Happy Saturday! We had a few days of 80 degree weather, but the forecast is full of rain now, so we’re still waiting on summer to really start. That’s ok with me! I was sweating!

If you haven’t been watching the NBA playoffs you are really missing something! The action has been so exciting. Every series is great, but I’m especially loving watching the Nuggets fight for every inch. They are huge underdogs and they will probably still lose the series ultimately, but right now they are up 2-1. I’m also rooting for the Knicks to finally achieve something.

ALSO. The WNBA starts this coming Friday the 16th. The opening game is Minnesota vs Dallas. I can’t wait to see Paige Bueckers’ debut! Caitlin Clark plays on Saturday at noon pacific.

My editing is going pretty well. I more or less skipped one day so I’ve edited 200 pages so far. Mostly just taking notes and making comments in the document still. Some areas need work, but in general it’s good and some sections are very strong. Mainly I just need to work on fixing some non sequitors and transitions and adding details to make the world really pop. The real work will begin on the next draft.
