Weekly Update #132

Happy Saturday and happy August! I can’t believe we’re already here. Where did all the time go? In my head it’s still March or April.

I had a good week writing. I kept to my quota and reached 12k words. There were some great passages and I think I’m getting my footing after struggling a bit to find my way the first week. I had some ideas about where the story should go but over time and marinating in it I’ve had some new ideas. I think it will be great whatever way I decide to go though. At least I’ll be happy with it.

FYI, At the pace I’m going the book should be out around mid-November.

It’s another race weekend in F1. They are in Hungary. There were some big surprised in the qualifying session: Lewis was out in Q3 (he’s the best driver at Hungary ever), Aston Martin made huge gains and both cars are near the top of the grid, and last of all, Charles took the pole position! Weird. Poor Max is down in 8th place.

Also in the news, Stewie got a bone bruise on her knee so she is out for awhile. If she can’t make it back for the playoffs, I think the Liberty are going to struggle a lot. The Fever are on a big win streak and smoked the Mercury a few days ago. Still no timeline for Caitlin’s return. The playoffs start in six weeks so there’s really not much time left for her to get healthy and in shape. It’s too bad. I think there’s a good chance they just sit her out till next year.
