Weekly Update #154

Happy Monday! Sorry I missed my regular post on Saturday. I don’t know what happened! I just didn’t do it, and then I didn’t do it yesterday either!

The NFL season is officially over! It’s just the playoffs now. It all ended with a wild end to the Ravens vs the Steelers when the Ravens missed an easy field goal to win the game and head to the playoffs. Instead poor Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry have to wait another year for a chance. Crazy! This morning five coaches were fired. Some after only one year!

Today was the opening of Season 2 of Unrivaled! I actually missed it, but now that I know it’s started I’ll be watching it. Napheesa is out for a few months for double ankle surgery, but Paige is in it so I still have someone to root for.

My writing is going well. I’m keeping up with my quota which puts me around 23k words. I don’t really have an idea of how long the book is going to be still but I feel like I’m more or less in the beginning and not that much has happened yet, so I guess pretty long. Every book I try to expand my craft a little bit, and this book I’m trying to spend more time dwelling on things and not driving so hard on the story every scene.

Anyway, it’s going well.
