Weekly Update #159

Happy Saturday! The Olympics are finally here and I’m ready to BINGE. I watched the opening ceremony yesterday, all three hours of it. It was a great show even if it was a little too long for me. The speeches offered a hopeful message and set the stage for an exciting games. I don’t know what I’m most excited for. I’m ready for everything!

The latest on the WNBA CBA negotiations is that the two sides finally met for a three hour meeting and the W presented a new proposal to the players. No details yet but hopefully it’s some kind of compromise. I’d hate for the season to be canceled after finally gaining some momentum.

My writing continued to go well this week. I finished my quota pretty easily every day and ended up at 51k words. Still feeling like the book can go on for quite a long time, at least double this number of words. I think it’ll end up being between 120 and 150k. It’s a long time to wait for the final work, I know! Maybe I’ll try to split it up into smaller pieces again. It’s nice to have something for my fans to read and look forward to without having to wait for another half year.
