Weekly Update #163

Happy Saturday! It’s a big weekend — F1 is back! The season starts in Australia with all new regulations, new cars, new drivers, and even a new team! Wow! It’s very exciting. I believe the race is tonight which is actually tomorrow down under. I definitely won’t be watching it live let me tell you. Anyway, there are all kinds of technical problems with the cars and I’ll be amazed if even half the cars finish the race. So far Mercedes has a HUGE advantage over the other teams, so I think it’s their race to lose. Max crashed out in qualifying and McLaren is almost a second down from Merc. It’s sure to be a thriller.

Still no word on the WNBA CBA negotiations. March 10th is the new deadline. After that everything in the schedule starts to get pushed back.

My book went well this week. I’m at 74k words now. Not too much to report except that I completed a really exciting scene that I’m sure my readers will love. Otherwise it’s just slow and steady progress. The weather was pretty yucky all week which made it easy to stay inside and work on it. Spring and summer are just around the corner though. I can’t wait to get outside!
