Weekly Update #178

Happy Saturday! The summer is nearing its end and already I can feel Fall upon us! The sky is gray, the temperature is dropping, and the sunset is noticeably earlier by the day! That’s always the way it seems to go: It’s too hot to go out, and then it’s too cold to go out.

My writing went well this week. A couple of days I only did half of my quota, so overall I ended up one day behind, but it’s no big deal. I still did something. I might try to make it up later but honestly I’m not worried about it. It’s not like I have a deadline to meet! I usually end up cutting quite a bit during editing too, so maybe I would have ended up cutting those words anyway.

Not much else going on. Still working on the garden and clearing away brush to make the yard look nicer. There’s also some kind of horse fair or something across the street so I’m listening to horses neigh all weekend long. Woohoo!
