Weekly Update #118
Happy Saturday! It’s a bit chilly today, but the average temperatures are rising! Next week we are headed for nearly 80 degree weather and I’m looking forward to it!
It’s been a big week in sports. The NBA playoffs started and the first three rounds of the NFL draft are completed. The big news story that nobody can get around is that Shedeur Sanders remains undrafted. Nobody seems to have any clue why! On paper he is way better than almost every other quarterback that has been selected except Cam Ward. So what’s going on? Will he even go today? Considering how every team has passed on him multiple times, it’s possible that he could even go undrafted, which is insane. It’s an unprecedented situation.
No F1 this weekend, but next weekend they are in Miami. Oscar Piastri won the last race after the stewards gave Max a 5 second penalty.
The WNBA season starts a month from now on May 26. Mark your calendars!
My writing continued on this week. I’m currently sitting at 67k words. I’m more or less reaching the finale of part two of the story. Probably this will be the last week before I start editing, but we’ll see. Anyway, I’m close. I have some pretty clear ideas about details I want to add and small things I want to reframe or rework. Overall, though, I think it will be significantly less editing work than my last book, so that’s great.
Hope you have a great week!
