Weekly Update #140

Happy Saturday. It’s the last day in September. Can you believe it? The days are still warm, but as soon as the sun sets it gets cold, cold, cold!

Round 2 of the WNBA playoffs are in full swing now. The Aces are up 2-1 on the Fever. I’m watching the Lynx-Mercury game tonight, but last time I left it it was 1-1 after the Mercury came back from a 20 point deficit to win in overtime. It was a real collapse from Minnesota. Hopefully they can pull it together.

My OSU Beavers were fighting for their first win last night. I watched the first half. We were playing well against a 3-0 Houston, but unfortunately we lost in overtime, moving us to 0-5. It made an ugly season even worse. At this point I think it’s possible that we don’t even get one win.

My writing went pretty well this week. I was more or less back on track after losing a bunch of days the previous week. I’m currently at 54k words. Things are going smoothly and I wrote some good passages. The story has a good flow right now and I just need to figure out the best way to sail into the climax and conclusion. Realistically the book will probably be out around Thanksgiving.
