Weekly Update #156

Happy Saturday! It’s late so I hope you had a good day. I tried to avoid traffic by waiting until today to go downtown, but it was packed! My trip home was stop and go. Big yuck!

The NFL playoffs are in full swing starting today. The Bills lost to the Broncos in an OT thriller and the Seahawks completely annihilated the 49ers. Tomorrow it’s the Rams at the Bears and the Texans at the Patriots.

The WNBA is still in flux. There isn’t a full strike yet, but both sides seem to be sticking to their guns so it seems likely. But who knows!

My writing is going pretty well. I only ended up doing 500 words yesterday so I’m at 31.5k words. Still pretty good and I’ll try to make it up over a couple of days this week. I think the first part of the book is more or less concluded. The next part will last who-knows-how-long, maybe a really long time, I’m not really sure yet. It could go either way depending on how much desire I feel to spend time in the world.
