Weekly Update #170

Happy Saturday! Everyday the weather is improving and we’re getting closer to summer. Woohoo!

The start of the WNBA season is here! I watched Toronto’s opening game last night vs Washington. I love their colors and court design and the game was great! It went all the way down to the wire. Unfortunately they lost, but they played great. They have some great players and I’m sure they’ll do well. I also checked out a bit of Connecticut vs NY. CT is just looking terrible, just like last season, while NY is looking as good as ever.

Dallas vs Indiana is the big game today, starting at 10am pacific.

Still following the MNBA playoffs too. Not that much unexpected is happening. The east is pretty wide open still, although it’s looking like it’ll be the Knicks vs the Pistons in the conference finals. On the west, we’re probably looking at OKC vs San Antonio. Overall we’re getting some great action all around.

My writing is continuing to go well. I’m at 125k words now (around 430 pages). Definitely getting closer now, just need to work on the big finale and the conclusion. That’ll take quite a few pages so don’t get too excited, but hopefully in a month or so I’ll be finished with the first draft. That’s the plan at least. Then there’s editing. I don’t think it will take too long, although I know there are a few minor plot points I have to fix up.
