Weekly Update #172

Happy Saturday! Sorry I missed a couple weeks. I don’t know what happened. I just forgot!

Anyway, here I am!

Things are going pretty well. I finished the first draft of my new book and I’ve started editing. It’s around 515 pages and I’ve edited about 140 pages now. I’m doing about 20 pages a day which is as much as I can do before I start losing concentration. No big changes so far. It’s mostly small edits like fixing a sentence that doesn’t sound very good and fixing non sequitors. A few paragraphs got straight up deleted but it’s all for the better. Overall it’s going great I would say. At this rate I should finish this draft in about three weeks. Based on what I’ve read so far I won’t need to do another full read after that. It should be more or less ready to go.

Other than that, just been watching a lot of basketball, both men’s and women’s. The NBA finals started out with a bang when the Knicks came back from a 17 point deficit to win Game 1 at San Antonio. The Indiana Fever are kind of in a meltdown right now after Steph and CC had a big argument on the bench. They followed that up with a win but the team doesn’t look very cohesive. We’ll see how it goes!
